The Epsilon Xi chapter of Iota Phi Theta FraternityIncorporated better known as T.H.E.E. is one of manychapters of Iota, but what makes us stand out from therest is that we take pride in the fact that this is more of afamily than an organization. Chartered on July 27th,2004 at the University of West Georgia, the brotherhoodthat we possess is none like any other. The quality ofbrothers that has had the opportunity to pledge atT.H.E.E. are tiers above the rest, hence the acronymthat we hold so dear. With brothers who’s talents haveled them to thrive in industries such as Finance,Entertainment, Information Technology, and Supply aswell as leaders in public service and the U.S. ArmedForces. All are different individuals who earned andproudly wear the brown and gold and follow Iota’sprinciples of scholarship, leadership, citizenship, fidelity,and brotherhood amongst men. All members of EpsilonXi wear the Iota shield with pride and strive everyday toexemplify what it means to be an Iota Man.
T.H.E.E. Delta Delta Omega Chapter is the largestchapter in the State of Georgia and the 3rd largest virtualchapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. Chartered onMay 5, 2021 with the hopes of preserving the legacy ofT.H.E.E. and to ensure the moral values and principlesthat we stand on as a chapter and fraternity. Iotas at theUniversity of West Georgia, DDO represents the WestAtlanta Metro area that covers the counties of Carroll,Clayton, Cobb Coweta, Douglas, Fulton, Fayette, andPaulding. Comprised entirely of Alumni members of UWG,DDO seeks to uphold the meaning of IOTA MEN byexpanding the Social and Community Service aspect ofthe fraternity for the Alumni or graduate brother whowishes to carry on the morals, values, and principles ofIota. We seek brothers who want to work for thebetterment of Black Men and Women in the Atlantametro Area and throughout the State of Georgia.
Iota Sweethearts started as an honored tradition of Iota PhiTheta Fraternity Inc. In the early 1960s at Morgan StateUniversity (then Morgan State College), the brothers of IotaPhi Theta had an ally in the person of Ms. Audrey S. Brooks.Ms. Brooks was a member of the Morgan State staff,working at the registrar’s office. She assisted the brothersby working “behind the scenes” during their early growthand development of the organization. Ms. Brooks washonored with the “Eternal Sweetheart” title shortly after thefraternity’s official founding on September 19, 1963.Ms. Brooks’ legacy lives on as Iota Sweethearts grew into asisterhood. Iota Sweethearts hold a special place in thehearts and minds of the Brotherhood. We are dedicatedto the uplift, support, and respect of the Brotherhood.T.H.E.E. OW-Sweet, Inc. continues the legacy inspired byMs. Brooks by assisting the brothers of Iota Phi ThetaFraternity, Inc. in Georgia through contributions of localand national services to the community. Additionally,T.H.E.E. Ow-Sweet, Inc. is an organization that teachessocial and professional advancements to its members. Wepride ourselves on the individuality and creativity of eachof our members as they contribute to the shared purposeand vision of the organization.
